Alpine Exteriors was proud to partner with Exxel Pacific, one of the largest and most respected multi-family builders in Washington State, to complete the full exterior cladding and opening installation for this 60-unit apartment complex in Stanwood, WA. This new construction project involved high-volume siding, custom soffits, and large-scale window and door packages — all executed in phases and integrated with the general contractor’s aggressive production schedule.

Scope of Work Highlights

Siding Installation – Over 100,000 Square Feet
We installed a diverse range of James Hardie® fiber cement siding profiles, including:

• Traditional 8 ¼” lap siding

• Vertical board and batten panels
  This combination created dynamic architectural interest while delivering long-lasting, low-maintenance performance in Washington’s challenging coastal climate. All siding was installed over commercial WRB systems with code-compliant flashing, drainage plane detailing, and manufacturer-specified fasteners.

Window & Door Installation – Over 600 Units
Our team installed 600+ window and door units, including:

• Large-scale vinyl windows

• Sliding glass doors for balconies and patios

• Swing doors for unit entries and shared access points
  All openings were flashed, sealed, and installed with air and water barrier continuity in mind — meeting the latest energy code and Exxel’s strict quality control standards.

Custom Soffit Installation – Pine Tongue & Groove
As a key architectural feature, Alpine Exteriors also furnished and installed pine tongue & groove enclosed soffits across all building elevations, stairwells, and breezeways — providing a natural wood accent that adds warmth and curb appeal to this large-scale multi-family property.
