For Project 1725, Alpine Exteriors executed a full exterior overhaul featuring 8 ¼” James Hardie® Primed Cedarmill Lap Siding, primed 5/4×4 white trim, and bold 5/4×8 belly bands, combined with new Milgard® energy-efficient windows and doors, detailed deck repairs, and a custom finish using Sherwin-Williams® Resilience® exterior paint.

The home’s original exterior showed widespread signs of wear, water damage, and structural degradation around key transition points. Once we removed the failing siding and trim, our team discovered substantial rot and moisture intrusion, especially around the window and deck connections. We completed all necessary framing and rot repairs, then sealed the envelope with James Hardie’s HardieWrap® weather barrier to protect the structure against future water infiltration.

Our Elite Preferred crew installed the James Hardie® primed lap siding with code-compliant flashing, stainless fasteners, and precise spacing for optimal performance and aesthetic. We followed with Milgard® Tuscany Series windows and patio doors, offering enhanced insulation, UV protection, and coastal durability.

The entire exterior was then professionally painted with Sherwin-Williams® Resilience® — a high-performance, mold-resistant, UV-stable exterior paint designed specifically for the damp, unpredictable Pacific Northwest climate.
